About this event
Four musicians walk into a room carrying decades of accumulated instinct and a shared willingness to build something that didn't exist before they started. Jay Sanders bends guitar through registers that feel borrowed from two or three different solar systems at once. Will Boyd moves between reeds and electronics, carrying frequencies that began in South Carolina red clay churches and have been traveling outward ever since.
Zack Page anchors the whole system with a bass presence so grounded it functions less like an instrument and more like gravity itself. Alan Hall treats percussion as something closer to investigation than timekeeping, breaking rhythm into smaller and smaller pieces until something underneath reveals itself.
