Brian Felix has been quietly building something in this room, and Monday nights at Little Jumbo have been part of the foundation. His organ trio — Felix alongside Tim Fischer and Evan Martin — returns with a horn player joining in, one of three possible voices depending on who's available, which means the shape of the evening won't be known until it arrives. That's not uncertainty so much as it is the nature of something still becoming.

Newer compositions will share space with older ones, and the group will do what they've been doing here: listening, adjusting, finding where the sound wants to go. The creature in the corner has heard every iteration. Come see what this one turns into.
