Tim Fischer brings his quartet to Little Jumbo on November 16th, drawing from original compositions he shares with bassist Steve LaSpina alongside new pieces from Jacob Rodriguez. The set doubles as a preview of an upcoming trio recording with LaSpina and drummer Ryan Ptasnik, music that has been shaped in private and is now finding its first open air. These four have a way of listening to each other that makes the room feel smaller and stranger in the best sense, the kind of night where the weird art on the walls seems to lean in.
