By Local Asheville news desk
Asheville residents can donate, shop for free, and volunteer at the Costume Swap and Creative Reuse Workshop on Saturday, Oct. 17, from Noon to 4 p.m. at Stephens-Lee Community Center.
The event accepts clean and gently used costumes of all sizes, as well as hats, masks, and trick-or-treat bags and bins, but not wigs.
Donations can be dropped off at various locations, including Lake Julian Park and Asheville City Hall, during normal hours, and at Stephens-Lee Community Center on Oct. 16 and 17.
Volunteers are also needed to help with donation intake, event set-up, and other tasks, and can sign up on a provided form.
